Three Musketeers

These boy’s are hilarious! They were so funny. All of them so very different from the other, and so funny. Why is it that 5-10 year olds suddenly get pseudo-smilitis? I don’t know. IF I did know, it would make many many photographers very happy. They give this funny square looking smile where their eye’s are not involved in the smile, almost kind-of like when a dog shows you his teeth when getting ready to growl. They just show you their teeth; it’s so funny! One of them wanted nothing to do with taking his shoes and socks off, one was totally fine with it and running around as if he had on shoes, and the other was in between did like it and didn’t refuse it either. The boy’s were full of expression and funny faces, we goofed off a lot, and laughed and giggled. The giggles came later, only after crude and disgusting bodily noises were made and talked about, cheerio’s were being launched out of Dad’s mouth, and anything smelly or gross had been talked about. Mom, on the other hand was not enthused about the talk about farts and stinky underwear, but hey, it’s what makes boy’s tick, what makes them laugh more than anything- so whatever has to be done to get a real belly laugh and giggle, I’m up for it! My philosophy on boy noises(LOL)- farts and burps is that God gave us those crude noises for a reason, and I think it’s so that we’d have something to laugh at, at ourselves and others. It is a boy’s weapon and greatest talent that they are most proud of; no matter the age 2 or 92. Face it. It’s true and I know that some of you reading this blog are thinking to yourselves; OH MY GOODNESS, I can’t believe she is talking, writing about this. Oh my! Well, I’ll bet some of you are laughing! I know those of you with boy’s, whether a son, a brother, a husband, anyone who’s lived with boy’s knows all about it! I had to learn about it once I got married and then my son Brayden came along and then it was “double the fun” or should I say, “double the stink!” Okay, so I’m off of my subject, back to the three musketeers~
Now, I couldn’t even decide which pictures to load as the sneak peek. The older one’s were making faces at each other, helping me out and making each other laugh, and I liked taking picture’s of the silly faces the most! These boy’s were very well behaved and polite and super cute to boot! Thank you so much R Family for a great time at the park! I hope you love and enjoy your pictures!
Until next time!. . .
Amazing Young Lady
Posted on April 18, 2010
I did a senior session last week for one amazing young lady. Where do I begin?. . . Talented- She plays the guitar and is fabulous at it, among other things I’m sure. Beautiful- no need for an explantation of this, you can see this from her pictures. Smart- Already taking college classes. She inspires me even more to homeschool my children. I felt God tugging on me to homeschool my son next year for second grade as he is struggling in school and has some attention issues and has no desire to learn; and it seems as though every corner I turn God puts someone in my path that is homeschooling or home-schooled, and all have been such inspirational people. This senior is interested in missions and I know she would be fabulous at it! Her dog, Emmie, Emmy, not sure how they spell it, but if I was in a position to have a dog or need a dog; I would want that dog. Shoot, I want that dog even though I don’t need a dog nor did I desire the responsibility of a dog but Emmy is just so SO cute and sweet and hypoallergenic and she’s a labrodoodle, not that means anything; I just like the name and I like to say it. It rolls right off the tongue.
During our session we also had the grand excitement of seeing a snake, rather large in my book, but not poisonous. Okay, I’ll stop rambling and post the pictures! Enjoy!
One more, I had a hard time deciding which ones to post and which not to post. . . so hard to decide!
Yeah, I know I snuck another picture in, but I loved this black and white one!
Oh, those cheeks!
Posted on April 16, 2010
I did pictures of a very very dear friend of mine’s new baby girl the other day. I could eat her little cheeks, she is just beautiful! At 4 weeks old, she was awake for a good bit of the time. She also thought since she was awake, she needed to eat. She thought she needed to eat every 10 minutes. Bless her. She smelled just delicious too; oh how I love that sweet smell of newness! So, as I compare the size difference in a 3 week old baby 2 weeks away from her due date(Two Peas In a Pod post) to a 4 week old who was born very close to her due date. I believe that would make about a 5-6 week difference and WOW how fast they grow! I love all the sweet wrinkles, tiny hands and knuckle dimples, those sweet baby doll lips. Love it! Eat your heart out!

Yeah, I know. . . I am way WAY behind on blogging. Forgive me. I now have many many many sessions to blog about so you will soon see a tidal wave of posts. I can say that I am slightly overwhelmed at the moment, I am blessed though and I know I am fulfilling my calling and my assignment from God. I am doing what I was meant to do. How many people can actually say that?! So how could this not be a passion of mine- take a look at the sheer unabashedly amazingly sweet and precious little miracles I get to hold and snuggle and photograph in all their glory!
I wanted to take them and put them in my pocket and take them home. Yes, they were tiny. The pictures don’t do them justice, such tiny little miracles. They feel like heaven; soft, sweet smelling, radiant and like a little cloud of sweetness! These babies have such a headfull of hair at three weeks old and they are still 2 weeks away from their due date! They didn’t really even open their eyes the whole session but just for a few seconds here and there, not long enough to get a picture of those sparkly eyes! Next time though . . . until then, enjoy the peaceful comfort of the sleeping miracles!
Spring Baby Bunny Sessions
Posted on April 1, 2010
Bunny Sessions. . .aahhh; so so sweet! What blast we had doing these sessions! The bunnies were such troopers and so very patient and sweet letting anyone hold them and snuggle them. There were those who didn’t want anything to do with the bunnies, AT ALL! Then there were those that loved the bunnies oh so much that they wanted to take them home. And then, there was one in particular who wanted to taste the bunny and thought, maybe it was a chocolate bunny. We had such a wonderful time, thanks to the mom’s and dad’s who were on “bunny patrol” and made sure none of the baby bunnies hopped away. I everyone is truly delighted with your pictures, as they are absolutely priceless! I can’t wait to do these again next year!
So here is Baby S: She was not so sure about that little bunny at first as she looked at it, thought about it, and eventually warmed up to the sweet baby bunny. She was delighted to feed him strawberry leaves!
The three A’s: Mmmmmm good, bunny ear!
Sweet Angel’s A and R: A is so SO expressive and was just loving these bunnies. R, well it was close to nap time and she was not so interested and was more interested in having a bottle and then she showed a little bit of interest in the bunnies. A was THRILLED that “her bunny” ate the strawberry leaves that she fed her.
The Three Musketeers: J didn’t want anything to do with my camera, me or the bunnies (sweet baby ended up having pneumonia a day or so later, no wonder he didn’t feel like it! He’s doing great now, and hopefully we can redo this session now that all are feeling better again) E was just interested in eating the bunnies strawberries and she played with me a little bit, but M, was in no mood to play with me or the bunnies. With grandma’s help I was able to capture two of them with one smiling and one eating, not bad considering the circumstances. Ginny- you are my hero!
The Precious H children. This was my first time meeting them, and I was honored to be able to capture some special pictures for this sweet family. They crawled right into my heart! They are just so very sweet and cute too!
