Giggles and Gallops!

Posted on March 25, 2010

Oh my oh my what fun this session was!  We had a BLAST and this little Miss A always cracks me up!  She is just a little priss on one side then the other, she is just like her Mommy loving to work with all the horses!  She reminds me of a little porcelain doll, her features are petite, her little button nose, sparkling blue eyes and her baby porcelain skin!  She is a character indeed and we had lots of giggles, several little arguments over what I wanted her to do or what I didn’t want her to do and lots of compromise.  I was trying at one point to get her to turn around and make a face at me, and darned if she wouldn’t, and then Toby decided to turn his back to me as well!  But, oh the cuteness of the shot makes me giddy because it’s so funny!  She is a true 4 year old in every way!  I thoroughly enjoyed watching her play with her little miniature horse, Toby.  I also fell in love with Toby!  Miss A already does horse shows and shows her Toby, (all of you “horse people”, I’m not sure if I worded that correctly or used correct terminology).  I took my family with me to this session and my kids were able to see, pet and ride the horses as well.  What a treat!  Everyone had a blast and we look forward to going back this summer!!

Bunny Sessions Tomorrow!

Posted on March 19, 2010

Well, the kids and I have been watching, playing and trying to get to know each bunny.  I have 4 bunnies and they are SUPER SUPER cute.  Today we went to PetSmart to get a few “treats” for the bunnies, in hopes that they will behave for their pictures tomorrow.  Parents- I will need you on bunny patrol tomorrow!  This is going to be crazy!  Crazy but sure to be fun!  It seems they are more and more active by the minute which of course makes me nervous but. . .  We shall go forth and conquer the challenge of bunny wrangling and photography!  This shall make for some fun posts afterwards!  Thus far none of my children nor have I been pooed or peepeed on so no worries in that department!  I can’t wait to see all of you who have appointments tomorrow for a bunny session!  Come ready for some laughs and good times!   More posts to come soon!

What a ham!   Baby E, was so extremely expressive for his 9 month session.  He was so funny.  Lighting was AWESOME!  I hope that baby E’s mom and dad love these pics as much as I do!  His expressions are priceless and his eyes are just so beautiful.

Just priceless!

Place for Bunny Sessions

Posted on March 17, 2010

Okay!! FINALLY I have decided on a place to do the bunny sessions.  We will be doing them at the entrance to The Oaks subdivision in Dacula.  The picture posted was taken there last year.  I love the gazebo and the flagstone path!  Hopefully the neighborhood won’t mind! ;-)  I’m sure it will be fine!  Pull into the neighborhood and park to the right on the side.  Brittany- we will go somewhere different for Stella’s 2 year pics since you are doing bunny pics too!  I am SO excited to see all of you!  The pictures are going to be precious!

Directions:

From Dacula Kids Village:  Dacula Road is directly in front of the kids village.  Follow that road less than a mile and you will see the Oaks Subdivision on the left.

From 85:  From the ramp off of 85 go as if you are going to the Mall of GA.  At the light by Sam’s(Gravel Springs Road)  Turn right onto Gravel Springs Road. Continue down Gravel Springs for several miles, crossing over 85, and then the intersection of Braselton Hwy and Gravel Springs Road.  Continue straight until you reach the Dacula Kids Village and turn right at the light onto Dacula Road.  The neighborhood will be on your left, less than a mile.

From Flowery Branch:  Head south on Braselton Hwy until you reach the intersection of Gravel Springs and Braselton Hwy.  Turn left at the light and go until you reach the Dacula Kids Village.  Turn right at that light and the neighborhood is less than a mile down on the left.

See you all Saturday!

Rocking baby C rocked my world!

Posted on March 9, 2010

So, this baby is so funny.  She is going to be just like her mommy.  C’s mommy keeps me laughing and I still have this song in my head that she was singing.  Funny thing is, is that she was singing and I was in my little world somewhere whilst concentrating on baby C and her pictures and lighting and I somewhat become to where things sound mumbled and I don’t really hear very well.  Fellow photographers, you probably know what I am talking about, . . . or not.  It may just be my quirky self, that I become totally socially challenged.  Anyway, baby C’s mommy was just singing and I ask her “What language is that, I like that song?”  She looked at me so funny for split second and said, “just english, I’m just singing somewhat in baby tones”  or something to that effect.  That is how serious I am about temporarily leaving the planet while shooting, I don’t even recognize my own native language- sad.  We did some pictures inside and outside in their backyard.  What a fun family!  I just love them, the Dad- J, is very reserved and just sits back taking it all in, and then there’s N- mommy, who is wide open, singing, dancing, and laughing it up!  It makes for a fun session, and I can’t wait for the next!

Enjoy your sneak peek J and N!

Baby Bunny Session’s

Posted on March 8, 2010

Okay, finally the long awaited information on the soon to be here bunny sessions!  I will have two or three baby bunnies that are so SO very cute!  They will be on Saturday, March 20.  The location is still to be determined, as I am waiting for several reasons- one: waiting to see if the daffodils will be in bloom, two: I am trying to decide on a location where there will not be a whole lot of people.  The bunnies would cause distraction and people would end up standing around watching and then distracting your little one’s from my attention.  The sessions will be at either one of two locations in Dacula or Sims Lake Park in Suwanee(possibly, but the people issue is bothering me on this one!)

These are the session times:

9:30am, 10am, 10:30am, 11am, 11:30am, 12noon, 12:30, and 1pm

Time slots are limited so call today or send me a text message if you would like to reserve a time!  770.597.2753  I will post the location by next week if not before.

$175.00- up to 30 minute session, 3 accordion wallet books, 20 4×6′s all the same with envelopes

Little Man H

Posted on March 2, 2010

Well, this blog post is overdue.  I did this session a couple of weeks of ago of this sweet little man!  He is just beautiful and was such a great little subject to photograph as he did put up with being put here and there, this way and that, and even went to sleep and stayed asleep as his mommy and I  moved him around as she snuggled him!  What a sweet little face!  I wanted to capture some “tooshie” shots but, he was being quite modest and didn’t want me looking at his tooshie and he put up a fight.  Not to mention he was very very tired and tired of me and my camera.  Maybe next time for the tooshie picture!  They also have a dog that crept right into my heart, bad breath and all!  Miss Georgia, who is quite the senior citizen in the doggie world.  She was not liking that this new little man in the family was getting SO much attention, so while Little Man was snuggling with Mommy and trying to go to sleep, I decided I would spend some quality time with Georgia and give her some love and let my camera love her a little bit too!  What a face!  What’s not to love?!

And here is a snapp of little Miss Georgia. . .

Little Man went to sleep, so nothing sweeter than a sleeping baby!!

one of my favorites!. . .
