Be Still My Heart!

Posted on February 25, 2010

My oh my!  This little-snuggly-chunk-of-handsome-love just steals my heart every month.  He is just so funny, always smiling and happy!  He reminds me of pooh bear, as he does think that he gets a little “rumbly in his tumbly” and has to have a little snack for a break.  He is PRECIOUS and he has two gorgeous sisters.  One is always in school when I go to do Mr. A’s pictures, but the other; Miss A, is sometimes there when she is not otherwise preoccupied at preschool.  Of course, it is tradition when Miss A is home that we always have to have a little spotlight mini diva shoot for this little diva, and everything is always her idea for her special mini session, and I do say they are great ideas.  In fact I have thought about hiring her as my little apprentice and  ”smile maker” because one look at her and she just lights up the room just like her little brother.  She does a most splendid job helping me to make Mr. A smile and giggle.  Then there is Bear Cat.  He in one unique, spoiled kitty cat (just the way pets are supposed to be).  He LOVES all my blankets that I bring and yes he always has to make his presence known as he prances around on the blankets looking, feeling and scoping out which one he thinks will be most luxurious and live up to his standards of snuzzling in and having a little nip nap.  I look forward to this monthly session as I have become quite attached to this precious family including Mr. Bear Cat. Now for a few pictures from our latest 7 month session!

And here is Miss A, in a pose that she often chooses looking totally scrumptiously precious!

We were experimenting with static electricity, and trying to see what would make her hair have the most static and make it the craziest!

And the famous Mr. Bear Cat in all his glory and regal beauty!

Until next time my little lovies~

Playdate With Friends and SNOW!

Posted on February 14, 2010

Friday, the girls and I decided we were going to go hang out with our buddies K, A, and B.  A is Avery’s best buddy!  They are buddies, they act like sisters.  They play really well together most of the time, and those times in between when they aren’t playing so well. . .well, they also fight like sisters- typical girls.  Girls are caddy and a lot like cats.  They can be very protective of their territory(toys, space, feelings), when something doesn’t go just as they planned or expected girls tend to “hiss” at each other and on occasion, take a swat at the other.  They pout and get over it quickly.  They are mad at each other one minute and giggling the next.  It is amazing to me how much like cats girls can be.  But beware, when they grow up, they also become like hens!

The girls were anxiously awaiting for the snow to start falling.  It was in the forecast, but you just never know if it REALLY is going to snow or not.  Well, K and I were chatting and the girls were playing nicely, crafting, and tattling(this comes along with any child relationships, I come to the conclusion, that ALL of them tattle and take great pride in doing so.)  As they walked past us to go look out the window for the 1,035 time, we heard shrieks of joy!  And immediately they wanted to go play outside.   Guess, what we did next. . .

Here are some photos I snapped as they were “swinging in the snow!”

These are pre-snow.

OH, the joys and fun of playing with the iphone!

This is little miss drama queen, she is a stitch!  Will not keep a bow in her hair for anything but always ALWAYS wants her nails painted.

24 hours later-

The snow fell. . . lots of snow, more than expected.  The excitement was so electric, I could hardly get them dressed quick enough to go sledding with our friends and neighbors across the street.  Enjoy the pics!

Typical boy- of course he had to roll in the snow.  Boy’s are like puppy dogs, they must be walked or run every day.  When you let them out of the house, they take off at full speed just running to run!  Falling down on purpose, rolling in the snow, dirt, puddles, grass, whatever the weather happens to be that day.  Here is B after a nice run, romp and roll in the snow!

Here is one of little “kitty cats” prissy most of the time, gingerly walking through the snow.

SLEDDING!!  Malli didn’t want to sled and could care less, she was only concerned about staying warm and cozy as she observed all the activity.

Yes, this is a priceless look of fear, panic stricken, a look of OH MY GOODNESS what have I gotten myself into.  This was the biggest hill in the neighborhood almost like the dragon’s tale water slide at White Water in Atlanta.  He loved it and ended up doing it over and over again, giggling all the way!

Until next time!. . .

Scrumptious Baby “G”

Posted on February 4, 2010

So, I did baby G’s three month session on Monday.  It seems like yesterday I just did his newborn session when he was only a week old!  This is one scrumptiously sweet chunk of baby!!  I so very much enjoy holding my baby plan babies; they cuddle so nicely!  We had a long relaxing session and these are my favorites when the session is relaxed and laid back.  We took a few breaks for little G to have a snack, and a cat nap.  While he was napping mom was washing dishes and we were just chatting as I was ever so carefully, as if moving the most fragile of egg shells sitting on the floor in front of his swing trying to arrange his feet.  I love to get those little “tootsies” captured.  However, G is a light sleeper; first attempt- failed, fell back asleep and second attempt- SUCCESS!  His hands were my next mission, those sweet little knuckle dimples and teensie weensie little finger nails.  I won’t waste my breath on this one, I’ll cut right to the chase- he WAS NOT having it!  Doesn’t like his hands messed with at ALL!  Oh well, you win some, you loose some!  However all the other pictures are wonderful, especially those of baby G interacting with Mom and Dad.  The love in these pictures is so strong and sweet the way baby G looks at Mommy and Daddy and the way they talk to him and gaze at him is priceless!  Okay okay, on to the pictures!  Enjoy!

Oh, the sweetness!

In the name of everything precious- the look on his face, those sweet round kissable cheeks and those big eyes!

One more, just one more and I will move on. . .

Precious Baby A’s 1 Year Session!

Posted on February 1, 2010

This baby’s eye’s have always amazed me.  I have never ever seen eyes as blue as these baby blues!  Just breathtaking. . . . in more than one way.  This session was quite a challenge.  It was FREEZING cold outside(so cold it’d take your breath) and probably wouldn’t have felt as cold as it did except that we were having winds strong as tropical storm force winds.   Those kind of winds don’t do to well on baby hair.  I was having to hope and pray that she would be looking and smiling, holding her pinky finger the right way. . . *smiling* just kidding, but really the .592 seconds of no wind in between the bursts of gale force winds to catch the right look without her hair standing on end like she’d stuck her finger to a static electricity ball was not easy.  She was such a trooper though for it to be so blasted cold! We went inside the club house to warm up and I caught some really great pictures there!  Here are a few pics from our session!
